Novartis Herzschwache Kampagne

 

Together with CHIMNEY GmbH I created a series of animations for social media to promote the Novartis sponsored website www.schwachesherz.ch.
The idea was to recreate different family situations, which were interrupted by a character with a heart condition. Different characters had to be designed to portray the scripts.
Starting from a character already designed by Novartis, I developed the rest of the characters in the same style, until I completed a whole family.

The result was 4 animations of different situations, delivered in 4 different languages.

The initial brief gave me the freedom to develop different graphic languages, even experimenting with some stop motion/tactile techniques.

We then chose to develop the concept of ‘Neon Markers’, using elements such as lines, textures and colours that this type of pencils provide.

I like to pay attention to communication with the client, trying to make it as clear and orderly as possible. We were refining together the details of the characters through references, and once they were approved by the client, I added and illustrated them on the characters.
